A WW2 6th Alpini Regiment officer’s M34 felt cap with gold coloured Nappina and partial feather.
Nappina is of WW2 pattern with a solid, one piece back and cross of savoy.

Silk lined without plastic, and characteristic brim stitching which denotes wartime pattern. This brim stitching is normally reserved for enlisted men but is often seen on private purchase officers models such as this.
Makers name to Georgio Parolini of Verona
The 6th Alpini Regiment fought in Eritrea and Ethiopia in 1936-37, the invasion of France in 1940 and then Albania and Greece. They were given Italy's highest military honour after it was virtually destroyed on the Russian front in the winter of 1942- 43 by the Soviets in Operation Little Saturn.
