In untouched condition - textured dark green paint.

With original elasticated chinstrap

Shell stamped 1938 and JSS 57916

Liner also dated 1938,made by J C S & W.

Liner size 6 3/4

Shell also has initials S S painted within  it.

Great example of an early war brodie which may have seen service with the BEF.
