Original Edwardian Pre WW1 Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders Volunteers OR's Doublet & Glengarry
Scarlet serge, single breasted tunic with yellow high collar with white metal collar badges. Yellow gauntlet cuffs with piped edging and gimp lines.
White metal General Service pattern buttons to breast, rear and front tails.
Yellow epaulettes with rank insignia to left arm. In good overall condition with some very minor moth damage.
Accompanied by a red and white diced, leather edged Glengarry with re-attached tails and fitted with a white metal Argylls badge. Red courier still in place. Some mothing to the top edges of the cap but not too bad.
Chest Size approx 35 inches. Armpit to armpit measurement is 18 inches.
Armpit to cuff is 19.5 inches
Overall a lovely doublet jacket and Glengarry combination
