A pre WW1 Edwardian Lancashire Fusiliers 2nd Lieutenant’s jacket and trousers.
With Epaulettes on the shoulders with 2nd Lieutenant rank pips (one loose)
All KC brass buttons present, bottom one plain as would have been under a belt
Ornate brocade cuffs and collar. Back of collar shows some wear and part of brocade a bit loose.
Chest Size approx 34 inches. Armpit to armpit measurement is 18 inches. Jacket is heavily padded / lined and would be very slim fitting. Armpit to cuff is 19.5 inches
Jacket Condition - small stain below each shoulder. Some small moth trail patches (pictured), one button has been re-sewn
Trousers/overalls are thick black wool and with broad red stripe. All buttons present for fly and braces.
Some moth trail patches / holes but otherwise in very good condition. Waist is small - measure 16.5 inches across when laid flat. Inside leg 30 inches.
