Fine and near immaculate Original Victorian Kings Royal Rifle Corps Frogged Patrol Jacket 1875-85.
Made from near black superfine cloth, with scarlet collar and cuffs. The front has 5 rows of square cord with drops, netted caps and olivettes. 1” mohair to the edges and back, which also has fern below the collar. Twin pockets to front beside 5th row and additional breast pocket. Black satin lining.

Very unusual to find a jacket of this age in this condition.
