A WW2 German Police/Firefighters M40 helmet, with M34 liner, probably used postwar

Fitted with a pre-war M34 Police type liner with distinctive leather pad on the crown of the shell.

Paint is postwar in a light grey colour and with some darker grey paint that has been carelessly applied.

Shell has a stamp that is hard to make out besides the figure 9.

With pre-war chinstrap that matches the M34 liner.
