A rare WW1 German Navy Kriegsmarine Ratings Cap for SMS Prinzregent Luitpold of Battle of Jutland Fame.
Dark blue wool 'Donald Duck' or deck cap.
Cap tally for SMS Prinzregent Luitpold which was the last of the Kaiser class battleships and took part in the Battle of Hutland in May 1916. The ship was eventually scuttled at Scapa Flow in 1918.
With original State cockade badge (some paint missing)
With black fabric chinstrap - rare to find these still in place.
In great condition, complete with its tails from the name tally.
