A WW2 RAF flying log book and medal set for Wireless Operator J R Campbell

He flew in active service during WW2 in Lancasters, Wellingtons and Ansons.  This included bombing raids in Lancasters in June 1945.

Post war he also flew in Dakotas and Horsa gliders, acting as a jump master. He also flew extensively in the middle east.

The set comprises of

- WW2 flying log book 1943-50

- post war flying log book 1950 (only a few pages completed)

- WW2 War Medal in QEII presentation box (named to him) as was awarded in 2009, possibly as a replacement

- WW2 War medal letter and award slip

- wireless operators trade patch badge

- 3 small items of ephemera including an RAF telegram)

The spine of the WW2 flying log is damaged / fragile
