Lovely Original WW1 French Army  114th Infantry Regt Captain's Kepi Cap.

This model of kepi was discontinued in 1910, but would have been worn into WW1.

With 3 gold braid rank lines and WW1 Austrian knot pattern to the top.

With bullion wire embroidered regiment number for the 114th Infantry Regiment

Correct 'False' gold braid chinstrap secured with Infantry buttons.

Condition is very good, with basically no mothing. Some small stitching faults to the gold braiding.

Black leather visor and sweatband, and black silk lining.

Size approx 57.

Rare to find WW1 kepis of this type in this condition.
