Lovely original early WW2 1939 BEF era Saville Row Royal Army Service Corps RASC 2nd Lieutenant's Jacket - S Mitchell
Very high quality heavy fabric and tailoring - has a lovely feel and looks to it.
With metal shoulder rank pips for a 2nd Lieutenant.
Officers Bronze Royal Army Service Corps collar badges.
Brass Kings Crown RASC buttons throughout - all present.
Nicely tailored and lined and with makers label for Sandon & Co of Saville Row, London, named to 2nd Lt S Mitchell and dated 31st October 1939.
Condition is generally excellent with only 2 small holes on the bottom edge of the jacket.
Chest is approx 40-41 inches. Measures 20.5 inches armpit to armpit and 18.5 inches from armpit to cuff.
Unusual to find a jacket of this high quality.
