SOLD! Pre 1940 Royal Navy Captain’s Visor Cap made by Gieves

A very unusual Pre 1940 Royal Navy captain’s cap.

High quality Gieves made cap in good condition with only a small amount of mothing under the chinstrap.

From the Gieves address, the cap is definitely pre-1940 but it looks substantially older to me, possibly early inter war. 

Very unusual to find a high ranking cap like this with this sort of age.
