Original Pre WW1 Swedish Army M/1895 Pattern Forage Cavalry Hussars Dragoons
Dating from 1895 to approximately 1910
Original fired-enamel national cockade bearing the Tre Kronor (Three Crowns) emblem, mounted on twin vertical suspension straps beneath a yellow rosette. Three rows of flat silver lace encircle the body, with matching vertical rear seam braid.
Fitted with its original black vegetable-tanned leather visor showing characteristic late 19th-century age cracking, and a leather chinstrap secured by small silver gilt 3 crowns buttons
Interior retains a hand-stitched multi-panel natural leather sweatband with original reinforcement strip.
The maker stamp is for Militär Ekiperings Aktiebolaget (MEA), Stockholm
Condition is mostly excellent except for one of the rear vertical silver braid strips being unstitched at the top.
