Rare Original French Army Model 1848 Garde National Shako Helmet - Crimean War era.

With copper coloured metal Shako plate and double Pom.

Metal tricolour cockade

Patent leather top and leather visor

Leather liner still present

Copper coloured chinscales which are missing their connecting strap and currently connected with a shoelace.

In generally very good condition with some small moth hole patches on the left hand side.

Size around 55-56.

Guaranteed all original except for shoelace.
