Rare ORIGINAL OPERATION SEALION GERMAN INVASION PlANNING ENGLAND MAPPE A FOLDER - very near complete
Fascinating folder set originally produced by the German army in preparation for an invasion of the UK containing information booklets and maps.
4 of the 5 booklets are present and all in good condition. The missing small booklet is item #2 on the contents list (see final listing photo) - the "Ortschaftsverzeichnis" or Place Directory
The booklets include the Textheft which details the strategic values of each part of the UK, and the Bildheft which has pictures of key parts of the UK and particularly harbours

All 8 maps are present and most are in very good condition - approx 2 have some small holes on corner folds.
As well as normal geographical maps, there are maps of the railway, gas, water, electricity networks etc. All the things necessary when planning an invasion. Some of the maps are double-sided.
The folder packet is missing the front cover flap which includes the title and contents
