Rare WW1 US Army Soldier's Photo Album, Ephemera, 125 photos + 1 realphoto postcard.

Album attributed to Private H B Wells as there is a field service postcard named to him.

A good number of photos are annotated starting in August  1917 at "Camp Arcadia", Carlstrom Field in Arcadia, Florida and then Camp Fremont at Palo Alto.

His unit landed at St Nazaire in Brittany France in October 1917. After this there is no annotation in the album presumably for security reasons.

There are some great photos of soldiers in uniform and in the trenches and training with anti aircraft machine guns, soldiers wearing gas masks, and a captured fort which shows white flags of surrender.

Approx 36 photos are non-military, of local people, views, buildings etc

Also contains a number of WW1 French and German bank notes, some period theatre Ephemera.

The album is approx A4 sized
