Rare Original Pre WW1 British Army Essex Regiment Scarlet Tunic Dated 1912
White cream facings to the collar and cuffs, bordered by ornate gold lace.
No epaulettes on the shoulders.
The Jacket has brass Essex Regiment buttons throughout - all present.
Makers label for Bartels & Co of London and Sandhurst.
Named to B S L Hutchinson and dated 1912.
Jacket condition is generally good with very limited mothing. Only one of the neck fastenings is functioning and the neck liner is very freyed - displays some signs of stitching repairs.
Chest Size is approx 34 inches and very slim fitting. Armpit to armpit measurement is 17 inches. Armpit to cuff is 19.5 inches.
