Rare WW2 Dutch Resistance Set - Liberation Plaque, Flag, Allied Air Drop neqspaper Leaflets, Resistance Newspapers and Collaborationist newspapers.

The Liberation Plaque / tablet is thick heavy glazed clay featuring the Dutch lion, Allied flags and the shattering of the Dutch fascist / collaborationist symbol with date 5th May 1945.

Unfortunately the Plaque has been broken at some point and is glued, though the repair is quite good.

The flag is of the Dutch patriotic Orange movement. It has a raw edged on one side. Neither the fabric or stitching show up under black light. Flag measures 136 x 89 cm

The set also includes an extremely rare handmade double sided news leaflet titled De Vrije Pers (The Free Press) dated 27th April 1945, just before Liberation.

Includes 10 editions of Rare Original WW2 British & American Air dropped Newspaper on Occupied Holland 1945 "De Vliegende Hollander" (the flying dutchman) dating between June 1944 and May 1945. Some of these are in fragile condition.

Includes 5 editions of Rare Original WW2 HET PAROOL Dutch Resistance Underground Newspaper dated between 11th - 18th May 1945, each a single sheet, double-sided

The paper later became one of the largest circulating newspapers in the Netherlands, but during the war was distributed by the Dutch Resistance.

Also includes 8 editions of Original Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant Dutch Collaborationist Newspaper dated betwwen June 1944 and May 1945. Some of these look to have been displayed on notice boards or shop windows.

The paper was forced to change its name in late July 1945 after the end of the war and the full liberation of the Netherlands.

Finally, it also includes some Dutch rationing coupons.
