An Indian Wars (1880s) US Navy officer's bicorne and nelt, with tin.
Bicorne body covered with black mohair, with black fabric cockade, ornate gold bullion wire decoration and US Navy 19th century button (two piece construction). With bullion wire tassles front and back. Nicely lined and in good condition for its age.
Size approx 58.
Comes with its original japanned tin and belt.
Belt is black leather with ornate gold metal buckle and 2 sword hangers- one short and one long. Both with attachment clips for securing a sword.
