Born 1899, enlisted in January 1917 into the 2nd Btn Rifle Brigade, B Company.
Captured on 24th March 1918 at Nestle / Morchain and was held in Parchin prisoner of war camp.
He later served in the Home Guard in WW2 and worked in London Transport as a storekeeper and during which time he also had ARP duties.
