Cap is thought to be Franco-Prussian war era - around 1870 but could be earlier - the model of cap is unidentified.

Hungarian /Austrian  knots at the front and back in silver bullion cord.

Condition is 'salty' with a good number of moth holes - cap is structurally sound though.
