WW2 US Army Air Force Enlisted Man’s Bomber Flying Hat, Private Purchase

A great WW2 US Army Air Force (USAAF) enlisted man’s leather winter flying hat, used by bomber crews.

With enlisted man round metal badge

Private purchase hat rather than standard issue.

Made from brown wool and leather and fur lined - in generally good condition though leather is cracked with age.

Found near Worcester, so likely tied to a squadron based around there.
