Original Victorian 2nd Battalion Herts (Volunteer) Rifles Leather CrossBelt & Pouch dating from 1881-7

Dark tan leather crossbelt with blackened white metal (possibly silvered) mounts :

- large 2nd Bn Herts Rifles Victorian crown metal badge

- Lion badge with chains to Whistle

- small Victorian crowned metal badge on the leather ammunition pouch.

All elements of the crossbelt shows signs of being in place for a very long time.

Complete and in very nice condition overall, the leather dry according to its age.
