On the shoulders it has golded rope shoulder boards and with rank pips for a Lieutenant and a white metal M badge for Militia.
Victorian gilt South Staffordshire buttons securing the shoulder boards.
Jacket has cream collar and cuffs facings with gold coloured edgings. Golded fabric motifs to the cuffs and bullion wire South Staffordshire badges to the collar.
Both Jacket and waistcoat fasten with hook and eye fixings sitting behind metal shell beads.
Jacket has a beautiful heavily padded crimson lining.
Jacket condition is very good with only the slightest sign of moth nips. Some looseness to the gold thread edging on the collar.
Waistcoat is of cream cotton and silk - with golded thread motifs on each side.
The waistcoat is a little browned with age and has some small moth nips.
Chest Size is small approx 36 inches. Armpit to armpit measurement is 18.5 inches. Armpit to cuff is 17 inches
