SOLD! Pre WW1 (Edwardian) 1st London Volunteer Rifles Sergeant's Tunic and Victorian Volunteer Rifles Cross Belt and Pouch
A spectacular early Edwardian, 1st London Volunteer Rifles tunic and Victorian Rifle Volunteer leather cross belt and pouch. The tunic dates from between 1902-08 but given the long service stars and pre 1902 Victorian cross belt it is likely the set dates from around 1902-03.
With bullion wire regimental shoulder titles and King's crown silver Rifle Volunteers buttons, all of which are present.
With Sergeant stripes on the arm as well as, 3 x long service stars on the arm (each for 4 years) + signallers trade badge, a proficiency star, plus other badges including a small metal R.
Cuffs and collar are black velvet with braided rope
Lovely Edwardian jacket in great condition for its age with some small moth trails towards the bottom of the jacket - see final photo
Chest Size approx 34 inches. Armpit to armpit measurement is 17 inches.
