A unique WW1 British soldier’s scrapbook, photo and penny flag album, with cartoons and anecdotes.

Intriguing mix of content including philosophical sayings, some original Army photos, hand drawn satirical cartoons and 11 pages of Penny Flags.

It appears the soldier was Scottish and a number of the Penny Flag items relate to charities in Glasgow eg Belgian refugees in Glasgow.

A number of the pages are dated 1918 and 1919.

The album is small - pages are 13 x 11 cm.  Some pages are detached.
