Unusual WW1 or earlier, Bavarian fireman's black wool Feltmutze, with red piping and two cockades - the lower one being the state cockade denoting Bavaria and the upper the national cockade. The national cockade appears to be later.
Condition is generally very good and retains very nice shape. No mothing evident, however there is a bit of wear to the bottom rim.
