Corporal George Johnson (18775)
Born 1896 to George and Jane Ann Johnson, Leeds.
Killed by a shell at the age of 19 on 13th October 1915, during the Battle of Loos.
George is buried Sailly-sur-la-Lys Canadian Cemetery in France.
The 7th Btn landed in Boulogne on 24th July 1915 and fought in both France and Flanders during WW1.
He was awarded all 3 of the WW1 medals but the location of his 1914-15 Star is unknown
