The logbook covers the period Nov 1917 - Jan 1919
It mainly covers his training at No. 7 Training Depot Station at Fetwell which included a 6 week air Gunner course with Lewis and Vickers machine guns. He was recommended for a scout Squadron.
On the 9th March 1918 there is an entry for him crashing aircraft 4485 and it being a write off
