A beautiful WW1 Royal Navy officer’s peaked cap with removable white cover.
The cap is very nicely padded, with a fantastic WW1 period Royal Navy embroidered badge and removable white cotton cover.
Made by Miller, Rayner and Haysom Limited, making it pre 1912, when they became Miller Rayner and Haysom: Naval, Military, Shipping & Colonial Outfitters.
Unfortunately it is missing a button on one side and so the chinstrap is hanging loose, however it is still complete. There is also a small repair to the back of the band.
