Rare Fantastic Original WW1 Royal Scots Captain's Uniform Cutaway Cuff Rank Jacket, Trews,  Glengarry and  Sam Browne.

The jacket has early war cuffs ranks in the Scottish style and  pips for a captain - on both arms the 3rd fabric pip is a slightly different pattern presumably resulting from promotion to captain.

The jacket has brass metal Royal Scots collar badges, and all Royal Scots gilt buttons are present.

Jacket also comes with a green lanyard.

Jacket is very nicely tailored - no name or makers label.

Jacket size is approx 39 inch chest. Measures 20 inches from armpit to armpit when laid flat and 19.5 inches from armpit to cuff.

The Sam Browne is a rare double strap pattern in tan leather.

Jacket condition is excellent condition.

Trews have a fish tail back for use with braces and a button fly. All buttons present

Makers label for the Royal Army Clothing Factory showing their size and dated May 1912.

Waist 34 inches and leg 32 1/2 inches.

Trews condition is excellent.

Glengarry has a fully original Royal Scots badge and red tourie still in place - inside the cap itself shows the long standing indent of the badge pin.

Glengarry condition is generally good though both tails are missing and a fabric layer over the leather lower brim is largely no longer in place.  A small number of moth nips.

Glengarry size is approx 57

Overall this is an outstanding and rare collection.
