Original WW1 The Leinster Regt "Curly Scroll" Economy Measure Bimetal Cap Badge
A rare known WW1 variant of this badge where the white metal section was taken from a Welsh badge with a curly white metal scroll rather than the normal straight Leinster scroll.
The gilding metal Leinster section attached at the bottom exhibits the correct lack of letter stamping on the back.
The underside of the left hand side of the feather plume has the expected small metal burr found on original badges of this type.
