LOVELY ORIGINAL WW1 US ARMY MEDIC'S UNIFORM JACKET + TROUSERS + SIDECAP + PUTTEES + 2 MEDALS, 1918
With metal collar tab badges, including Medical Corps
Bakerlite US army buttons to the front (one missing).
77th Infantry Division formation patch on one shoulder and sergeant or service stripes lower down.
Medical sergeant stripes on the other arm.
Jacket Named to R W Laddow and dated 4th October 1918.
Makers label for Langrock & Gamer of New Haven Connecticut
Jacket size is approx 35 inches chest - measures 18 inches from armpit to armpit, and 17.5 inches from armpit to cuff.
Medals are
- US Victory Medal with France clasp (ribbon is worn/fragile)
- New York War Service medal 1917-19
Metal Medic's badge on the sidecap - size approx 54.
Trousers are in fantastic condition amd are Breeches style.
Trouser size is very small waisted - approx 27 inches - measures 14 inches across when laid flat.
Also contains a pair of puttees that were found with the uniform.
In fantastic condition (just 2 small moth holes on the jacket.
