Brass Kings Crown Royal Artillery buttons throughout - all present.
Nicely tailored and lined and with makers label for J G Plumb & Son of Westminster, London, named to 2nd Lt J B W Grigson and dated December 1939.
The label also includes RA for Royal Artillery
Condition is very good with only a small amount of moth damage at the bottom of the lower pockets.
Chest is approx 39-40 inches. Measures 20 inches armpit to armpit and 20 inches from armpit to cuff.

John Bertram William Grigson (109920) became a Temporary Major later in the war in August 1943.
He was also Mentioned in Dispatches on 15th December 1942 whilst he was in North Africa, quite likely following actions at El Alemein.
His promotion dates were :
