A very unusual WW2 German army M35, black leather map case and maps of Belgium/Wales.
Maker’s marked and dated "G. Heinichen, Dresden 1937" and named to Cedric Eustance. Also features twin adjustable belt loops to the reverse.
The case contains a folder for German army maps of Belgium made by the ‘Militär-geografische’ department, although this is empty. Also included is a much used city guide and large pullout map of Brussels.
Interestingly, though most of the maps focus on Port Talbot in South Wales which is a major industrial and Steel making centre. This implies the owner of the map case was gathering information on this area.
Port Talbot maps are well worn and have very old tape holding them together.
