The set contains :

- A photo album set during his training in Canada, containing 313 photos, including many of aircraft
- A photo album set during his service in the Bahamas, containing 49 photos.
- 2 large studio portrait photos of him

No.9 EFTS Ansty Coventry, from 20th June 1943 – training
No. 31 EFTS De Winton, Alberta, Canada, from 20th Oct 1943, training in Cornells.
No. 7 SFTS Macleod, Alberta Canada from 27th Jan 1944, training in Ansons.
He Gained his pilots flying wings 11th August 1944.
No. 1 General Reconnaissance School, Summerside, Prince Edward Island Canada from 22nd Sept 1944 flying Ansons.
Qualified as a Navigator 2nd class 17th November 1944
No. 111 OTU, Nassau Bahamas from 28th December 1944, flying B25 Mitchells in No.1 and No.2 Squadrons. Then flying B24 Liberators in No.3 Squadron.
No. 160 Squadron Minneriya, Ceylon from 13th August 1945, and then at Kankesanturai Ceylon from Sept 1945 flying B24 Liberators until March 1946.
The Canada album contains 85 military photos of his training, aircraft and aerial photos. The rest of the album shows images of touring in Canada and also of New York. This includes some great photos of Rodeos.
The Bahamas album contains many unusually characterful pictures (rather than just snaps) of local people and a number of high quality images of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor (the former Edward VIII and "Mrs Simpson).
Both albums are very nicely annotated.
