Geoffrey Chambers (VX315081)
Born in 1922 in Dudley (Worcestershire). Mother was Doris Chambers. Joined navy in 1941, with service number VX315081. Served aboard HMS Ganges, Victory, Cormorant, Sphinx, Drake, Nile and for much of the war on on HMS Liddesdale during 1944 (on Mediterranean convoy duty, based in st angelo fort, malta), this is likely the ship pictured.
