Corporal Thompson/Thomas Potts (1510 760372, 2382, 768372)

Thompson’s records are in a mess with some under his service number listing him as Thomas, some as Thompson and some even as Potts (with Thomspon as the last name) but all appear to be the same man. He appears to have been born in Bishop Auckland and enlisted on 18 Nov 1914 to the 1st reserve brigade of the Royal Field Artillery. At some point he was granted the silver wound badge (B258401). He was Discharged on 19 Feb 1919 for being surplus to military requirements (having suffered impairment since entry into the service). He appears to have had several service numbers: 1510, 760372, 2382 and 768372
